New York Fashion Week

Fashion week season for fall 2013 is almost over, even though the summer has not started yet... ;) Every year the best designers bring their best ideas to share with us new trends for next season. As I am a big fan of fashion of all kind, I would like to share with you my personal choices from each fashion week... Here are my highlights from New York! :)

Alexander Wang - Fur mittnest and ribbed knit caps tucked under matching snoods were obvios props. As we can wee, Wang was fixated on roundness... ;)

Anna Sui - she likes colorful patterns and this year was not an exception.

Balmain - the last dress, for me, is perfect "little black dress" for any occasion! After his "sweet spring", his fall collection is more rebel.

BCBG by Max Azria - Azria combined two disparate elements: Istanbul and contemporary art of Phil Frost.

Carolina Herrera - feminine silhouettes and earthy colors predominated and her main inspiration was a heroine of the 1940s.

10 Crosby by Derek Lam - collection for young independent girls.

Derek Lam - modern bohemian spirit with minimalistic elements - very fresh, very simple.

DKNY - When somebody says urban fashion, I automatically imagine Donna Karan. Seriousness, earthy colors, maximal comfort and futuristic jazz.

Diane Von Furstenberg - gold, patterns, bright colors on evening dress and models were smiling! :) Shows of Diane Von Furstenberg can always daze me!

Elizabeth & James - Fashion brand were main designers are sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. You can feel their typical passion for fashion in every piece. "Elizabeth & James girl" is wise and sophisticated.

Helmut Lang - For catching an attention Helmut Langs designers do not need bright colors.. Interesting patterns and cozy layers are enough! :)

Herve Leger - Iconic Herve Legers silhuettes and geometric patterns look very good with sporty caps and fur.

Chloe Sevigny for O.C.- Funny pictures and immutable Chloes style made a unique campaign! :)
J. Crew - Well known brand for preppy style with new 2013 spirit.

 J. Brand - young, modern and fresh with special oversized pieces and neutral colors that you can easily combine.

Kenneth Cole - Urban fashion on higher level: futuristic metallic leather, holographic jackets and accessories that incorporated lenticular prints.

Marc by Marc Jacobs - Very feminine collection like nobody else can create - Marc Jacobs is for me the king! :)

Marchesa - When I saw the show online for the first time, only one word came to my mind: beautiful! Evening gowns by Marchesa are full of details that make together an awsome masterpiece. Fancy-work, transparnt materials, corsets and luxury fabrics reminds me times of baroque and art nouveau.

Michael Kors - futuristic models with splash of color.

Oscar de la Renta - another perfect feminine collection for day and night inspired  by classic haute-couture and glamour style.

3.1 Phillip Lim - lots of layers, important comfort and street style were the main features of Phillip Lim fashion show.

Philosophy - debut collection of  the new designer Natalie Ratabesi for Philofophy by Alberta Ferretti was a really strong start. And what was her inspiration? "A Mongolian princess mooching around Paris at the heigh of haute couture fifties."

Proenza Schouler - for this brand, fall 2013 is marked by urban bohemian style with mild colors.

Rag&Bone - young fashion full of leather, metalic fibres and splash of bright colors. Great for day & night! :)

RED Valentino - is a very girly line that focuses on charming fashion. Dresses, mini skirts, knee-socks, roses and bows in hair will rule the rainy fall of 2013! :)

Rebecca Minkoff - preppy and street style inspired Rebecca Minkoff for her latest collection. And it is really great!

The Row - another brand that belongs to Mary-Kate and Ashley. For this branch they chose very sophisticated designs you can wear in office, coctail or dinner party.

Tory Burch - this collection evoked a little fairy-tale inspired with romaticism and art nouveau. Scarab prints, dragonfly motifs and floral patterns were the main features of this brand.

Vera Wang - with sequin, flowers, fur and sculptural silhouettes Vera showed us really pretty collection.

Vivienne Tam - punk, Asia and minimalism inspired Tam to create this very unusual collection... Pretty awsome! :)

ZAC by Zac Posen - girly line od Zac Posen is full of clear lines, mild prints and very refined shapes.

Another posts about London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks are coming! :) All pictures are from style.com.
